The air compressor system of our asphalt plant is controlled by

Before proceeding any maintenance, reparation or disassembly at
pneumatic system, be sure to shut off the air compressor and power
and empty air pipeline.
C. Components of pneumatic system
The following components are installed in the pneumatic system.
Pressure adjustor: adjust the air pressure.
Automatic drainage valve: eliminate the clotted water from
Electromagnetic valve: control the air current, namely extend and
withdraw air cylinders.
Carburetor: add lubrication to pneumatic system according to
presetted scale, so as to avoid abrasion.
Air cylinder: prompt discharging doors and valves.

D. Air compressor
Compressor, which is usually installed on plant or switch room,
provides the compressed air. Please carry on maintenance referring
The required pressure of the facility is 0.4 to 0.7 Mpa

Lubricate the air cylinders referring to specification for details.
The basic important item for faultless operation of the pneumatic
system is to preserve feeding clean-and-dry air, and to lubricate
valves and cylinders effectively.
If there is fault occurs in the pneumatic system, it is usually
because the system is mingled with vapor or other impurity, or

Check the automatic discharging valve;
Ensure normal oil and correct oil-level to carburetor. Refer to

|Exhaust fan Maintenance|
|installation||check the fan for any damage during delivery.|
|The fan should be connected to plane foundation firmly, and keep
its axle in level.|
|Excess load should not exist at inlet and outlet of fan. Namely,
the exhaust stack should be supported stably.|
|Check inner of fan for any other parts.|
|Check running of fan shaft for block and limit.|
|Test run should be proceeded for fan to ensure its turning
|The final check for facility running should include excessive
vibration and current overload for electromotors.|
|Daily check||Fan should be stored at clean and dry cite if not used soon. Run
the fan shaft periodically to reduce the bearing damage risk, it is
suggested to do so once a week, and several minutes each time.|
Lubricate bearings according to schedule. Grease bearings more
frequently during continuous running. Bearings and seats should be
greased only 30-50% of their free space.
The normal maintenance will reduce the occurrence of main fault,
keep normal work efficiency, and prolong its serving life.
Routine daily maintenance (approximately 8 to 10 hours)
Lubricate the equipments according to schedule.
Check screen according to maintenance specification.
Check air compressor pipeline for leakage, and open drainage valve
of airbag and compressor.
Check overflowing and waste pipeline for block.
Check the control house for dust; excessive dust will influence
Maintenance after shutdown:
Wash mixer with dry aggregate, scrub away the emptying door of
mixer with diesel.
Observe the going of burner.
After first day running, screw down bolts on mixer paddle, and
lubricate gateway shaft of mixer.
Check carburetor for lubrication referring to maintenance
Check and screw down all bolts.
Check screw conveyors bearing for lubrication and necessary
Check the synchromesh gears of mixer through check-door for
lubrication, and be sure to fill oil-sprayer with recommended oil.
