B. Original check
Before running, check the mixer carefully for bolt-loose, sundries
in mixer or driving system, location of axle, and lubrication.
After running several hours, it is suggested to recheck all bolts,
and often carry through this process according to experience.
Within the ability of mixer, it can get most effective performance.
If the load is beyond its ability, insufficiency mixing or driver
parts damage may occur.
After first check, discharge hot aggregate to mixer, and during
original running, it is suggested that not make it run full-load
until the of vanes surface have been polished. Same, it is also
suggested to mix hot aggregate more time in every beginning,
especially when the environment temperature is low.
The more dry aggregate is, the more abrasive will occur, and the
added asphalt will act as lubrication.
In common, discharge aggregate from weighing hopper firstly, then
discharge asphalt, filler and other additive in turn. Spray asphalt
with some pressure will improve its equality in mixture remarkably,
and also shorten mixing time. After mixed thoroughly, keep emptying
door open enough time (air cylinder control), so as to empty all
After everyday production, be sure to clean up mixer, and discharge
some dry aggregate to mix and clean is ok.
|Maintenance of mixing tank|

leaking, and graphite bars are installed between two airtight
faces. Screwing down bolts can make the airtight material impact
mixer body. Adjust bolts periodically to ensure compaction. In

Mixing paddles are installed on axle in couples. High-efficiency
mixing could be achieved through paddles running. The paddles and
vanes run according to certain state.
Vanes are installed on mixing paddles with bolts, which can be
adjusted and replaced if abraded. Check and adjust vanes
periodically to ensure the 3-to-5mm clearance between vanes and
scaleboards. Adjustment not done, mixer will be damaged under
high-efficiency serving, or material leaks out. It is necessary to
adjust and clean up clearances, and replace vanes in time.
